A&S Motorcycle Show - Sacramento 2006

1962 BSA DBD34GS - This is the same model as my very first motorcycle - what a beauty! Pretty little Bultaco - these were a blast to ride. I think this one belongs to Darryl Richman - he was running it for a while and it sounded very good. One of a number of pretty R100S and R90S models on display Chrome extravagaza Indian Scout This is a 1966 T120 Bonneville. My second Bonneville was this same year, but it was a TT special with the swept down pipes and minimal (ET System) electrics. My brother still rides it. Inline 4 cylinder 1938 Indian Another perspective on the 4 cylinder 1938 Indian A very pretty Indian Scout Even Harleys were on display Proud owner of this early water cooled 2 stroke Suzuki - he bought it new - stripped it down and did a fabulous restoration. Showroom looking fresh! 1973 Guzzi - UNRESTORED but it spent 20 years in the living room of a prior (doctor) owner. 1973 Guzzi again Gary's completely original R80 G/S I don't remember this being a stock color but maybe it was Period correct R90/6 all set to go touring A nice R90/6 with aspirations to being a R90S - very pretty Another really fun bike from my 1960's college days in Berzerkley Interesting wheel treatment These were scary fast - also needed bottom end work too often. That didn't matter much since most of them crashed early in their lives! This belongs to a fellow from Chico who just recently bought it. It made a nice roar as he accellerated onto the freeway after leaving the show. More variety - including bikes I'd look preposterously large upon A most unusual Gold Wing paint job. The photo doesn't show it but the valve covers are all engraved. 500 cc Matchless single. I had the 600 cc equivalent of this once, but never put it together before selling it - too many projects back then and I was much more in to T120s and A65s Very representative mild chopper of its era. Too bad there were no KR 750s at the show. An over view at the time we were leaving near 1:00 p.m. PDT Another overview, looking a bit more to the north and west of the previous shot.
